Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - With a model project, the Saarland Ministry of Health is preparing Corona vaccinations by resident doctors.
As the responsible department head Monika Bachmann (CDU) announced on Wednesday, the ministry is working on the project together with the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the Saarland Medical Association.
"As soon as sufficient and suitable vaccine for a vaccination is available from the outpatient doctors, we must be able to act", emphasized Bachmann.
Therefore, specific processes must now be tried out.
Among other things, this involves special delivery logistics and practical implementation.
According to the ministry, eight medical practices in Saarland are expected to take part in the model project.
