On January 27th, Bill and Melinda Gates and his wife published a 2021 open letter with the theme "The Year Global Health Went Local" (The Year Global Health Went Local).
This annual letter was co-written by the Gates and his wife, and is divided into three parts.
First of all, the annual letter summarizes the tremendous impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic on life, economy and health in the past year, and tells the achievements of all sectors of the world through cooperation.
In the second part, Melinda Gates called for priority to be given to fairness in the new crown epidemic.
In the third part, Bill Gates called for early preparations for the next pandemic.
He proposed that mankind should learn lessons from the response to the new crown epidemic and past infectious diseases to better face the next possible pandemic in the future.
