January 27, 2021 "We have said that we do not veto. And we do not suffer vetoes. But there is not only Conte. It is not by looking for the breaking points that the solutions are found, but by really trying to mend".

Thus the former Minister of Agriculture Teresa Bellanova (Iv), guest of Studio24 on RaiNews24.

"The maximum focus is on the program," he stressed.

And he adds: "In recent months we have succumbed to the cult of personality and the personalization of politics, now we need answers to the country with attention and expertise. The health emergency has further burdened the situation with families in difficulty and young people waiting for answers. this is not done with self-care ".

Bellanova then insists: "We want to discuss what is needed. I resigned as minister not out of whim, but out of a sense of responsibility, to try to find solutions to all those who are in difficulty."

We are not "absolutely unreliable as a political force" - he underlines - "are we perhaps unreliable because we said that the recovery was not going? Why did we say if we go on like this we risk not paying wages and pensions?".

On the possibility of further enlarging the coalition, Bellanova emphasizes once again: "We have said it clearly: the perimeter of the outgoing majority is valid towards a possible enlargement if the conditions are right. Quite the opposite of haggling and demeaning bargaining assisted in these days. We need a clear, transparent, reformist political pact and program. Precise choices and objectives and no opacity. If anyone feels threatened by this I don't know. To me it really seems the minimum wage ".

Bellanova then says that "action should have been taken already 10, 12 days ago after the resignation, he was uselessly lost almost two weeks".

On an eventual Conte-ter, the senator does not rule out this possibility but on one condition: "It must be highly discontinuous in the programs".

As far as the ESM is concerned, "one can also take part in it, but it is necessary - he continues to repeat - to give answers".

And he warns: "If they do not give themselves up in the shortest possible time, you risk social anger".

The senator - finally on the justice chapter - explains: "From the very first moment of the so-called Conte bis as Italia Viva we clearly said that on issues of justice the discontinuity with respect to the yellow-green government was mandatory", "about 9 months ago the minister Bonafede undertook to convene a technical table to discuss these issues and in particular of prescription which, as designed today, we consider an aberration. To date, the table has not yet been set up ".
