Frankenberg (dpa / lhe) - A 20-year-old motorist has delivered a chase with the police in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district.

A police patrol had become aware of the young man on Tuesday evening when he suddenly gave full throttle in his car and drove past the patrol with screeching tires, the police announced on Wednesday.

At the end of his escape, he hit a garden wall with his car.

Because one of the front tires was flat, he finally gave up.

He was arrested.

According to the police, there was still a 17-year-old boy in the passenger seat and a 19-year-old woman in the back seat of the car.

Nobody was injured.

The 20-year-old driver was believed to have been under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

According to the police, the man now has to answer for several traffic offenses and traffic offenses.
