A man in his 50s who disappeared naked in the middle of an Australian forest was found safely in 18 days.

On the 25th local time, Australian ABC News and other foreign media introduced the story of 58-year-old Robert Webber, who was missing for nearly three weeks after leaving a hostel in Kilkivan, Queensland earlier this month.

Mr. Webber left the hostel on the 6th in a car with his dog.

However, on an unfamiliar forest road that had been folded to avoid traffic jams, the wheels of the car fell into the mud, and his feet were tied.

I stayed in the car and waited for help, but the water I had stocked in three days only ran out.

Eventually, Mr. Webber left the car and started wandering in the woods.

Fortunately, I found a small dam and stayed around it to solve the drinking water problem. In the forest, I collected and eat wild mushrooms to relieve my hunger.

So, on the 17th, on the 11th day of the disappearance, Congressman Tony Ferret of the Gympie District of Queensland found Mr. Webber's empty car and reported it to the police.

It turns out that the place where the car stopped was Mr. Ferret's estate.

Mr. Webber was rescued only on the 24th, a week later. At the time of discovery, it is said that Mr. Webber was sitting weakly against a tree near the dam, shaking his hand toward Mr. Ferret, who first discovered him. Mr. Webber, who was taken to the hospital, said, "I was really lonely. The heavy rain continued to fall and I even passed out for a while," he said.

"Staying near the dam where you can get water was a great option. Webber got plenty of rest, treatment, and regaining health," said Ferret.

However, it was reported that Mr. Webber's dog was missing and the Ferret family continued to search.
