Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - A trial against a man who is said to have mistreated and raped his partner will start in front of the Frankfurt district court.
The prosecution also accuses the 38-year-old of having locked the woman for several hours.
According to the investigation, there was said to have been violence after an argument.
The man is said to have sprinkled pepper in the eyes of the victim after forced sexual intercourse.
The woman was burned when she was mistreated with a bunsen burner.
The criminal chamber has scheduled several days of trial until February.
