Eight years ago, the traffic administration, on behalf of politicians, began to salt the larger cycle lanes in the city.

By letting a machine first sweep and then add salt, the cycle paths have since been thoroughly cleared and clean.

The sidewalks, on the other hand, are only cleared with ordinary snow removal - plowing and sanding, which means that snow is left behind, which is then packed hard and freezes to ice.

Something that has been the subject of irritation and debate almost every winter.

But now the city is starting an attempt to salt the sidewalks as well.

Hear voices from frustrated pedestrians and see the garbage can in the clip above.
