Qi Bocheng, male, born in December 1968, was the former deputy director on duty of the dispatching station of the Harbin Railway Administration; Tao Yawen, female, was the wife of Qi Bocheng, born in September 1968, and was a former employee of the Railway Cargo Department of Mudanjiang City.
The two were suspected of taking bribes and fled in March and April 2012 respectively.
In September 2011, the People's Procuratorate of Jiguan District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, Qi Baicheng and Tao Yawen filed a case for investigation.
After the reform of the supervision system, the case was transferred to the Jiguan District Supervisory Committee of Jixi City.
In recent years, the provincial, municipal, and district discipline inspection commissions have unremittingly promoted Qi Baicheng and Tao Yawen's pursuit of escape and stolen goods, and finally urged the two to return to China to surrender the case and actively cooperate with the investigation by the supervisory authority.
The person in charge of the Central Fleeing Pursuit Office stated that the return of Qi Bocheng and Tao Yawen is an important achievement made by the discipline inspection and supervision organs in implementing the party Central Committee’s political requirements for fleeing and pursuing fleeing and recovering stolen goods.
