Aue (AP) - FC Erzgebirge Aue started with a win in the second half of the 2nd Bundesliga.

On Tuesday, coach Dirk Schuster's team turned a 0-1 deficit into a 2-1 victory against the bottom of the table, Würzburger Kickers.

Florian Krüger (78th) and Florian Ballas (85th) scored the goals for Aue.

Ridge Munsy (52nd) scored for Würzburg.

With 28 points, the Saxons are in the front middle of the table.

After the 1-0 win in Osnabrück, Schuster saw no reason to change his starting XI.

The Auer had some problems in the initial phase with the early pressing of the guests.

The "violets" rarely appeared dangerously in front of the Würzburger Tor in the first half hour.

Pascal Testroet came under pressure in the penalty area in the 8th minute, but Kickers central defender Hendrik Hansen was able to clear it just before the goal line.

The bottom of the table did not hide, lay in wait for the counterattack and could have taken the lead in the 26th minute.

A conclusion from Marvin Pieringer hit just next to the right post of the Auer Tor.

On the other hand, after a shot by Florian Krüger from the left-hand position, not much was missing (27th).

The Schuster team had more possession of the ball, but the hosts sometimes acted a little too carelessly when setting up their own game and defending.

After an attack by Würzburg on the right side, the leather came to Munsy in the 39th minute, who appeared free-standing in front of Martin Männel, but failed with his attempt at the FCE goalkeeper.

At the beginning of the second half, Krüger headed over the gate from close range (47th).

Only a little later, the guests punished the lack of this great opportunity and took the lead after a co-production by two ex-Auers.

Arne Feick played the ball into the top, where Munsy was able to loosen and hit the 0: 1 with a shot from an acute angle.

The Auer then pushed for the equalizer and rewarded themselves for the effort in the 78th minute.

After a break from his own half, Testroet ran energetically in the direction of Würzburger Tor and matched Krüger, who scored to 1-1.

It was the ninth goal of the season for the U-21 international and also the Auer's 600th goal in their second division history.

In the closing stages, both teams played to win.

The Saxons scored the decisive goal.

Ballas used a template from Krüger in the 85th minute with a placed shot from 20 meters to make it 2-1.
