Joe Biden shows his confidence in the deployment of vaccines to fight the spread of the coronavirus.
The American president thus estimated on Monday that the United States would come closer to collective immunity from Covid-19 by the summer.
"I am confident that by the summer we will be much closer to collective immunity," said the new tenant of the White House.
Asked about the date when all Americans wishing to benefit from the vaccine will be able to, he replied: "spring".
"I think this represents an unprecedented logistical challenge in the history of our country but I think we can do it," he said.
