Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) - After the corona-related cancellation of the third division game at KFC Uerdingen, FC Ingolstadt gave the all-clear for the home game on Wednesday (7 p.m.) against Halleschen FC.

As the Schanzer announced on Tuesday, the encounter can take place.

According to the responsible laboratory, the positive corona findings from last weekend were "false positive or negative".

This resulted in another series of tests at the Ingolstadt-based company.

The FCI's game at KFC planned for Sunday had been canceled due to corona infections.

The entire team of Uerdingen hosts had to be sent to home quarantine because of two Covid 19 cases, and the Upper Bavarian club later also made positive findings public.

Managing director Manuel Sternisa now said: "We are very happy that, thanks to the good interaction between the authorities and offices involved, an investigation could be carried out quickly and that we can again present two consecutive, completely negative test series."
