Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - Within one day, 199 new infections with the corona virus were registered in Saarland.
The number of people who died with or from Covid-19 rose by 4 to 713, as the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced on Tuesday (as of 4:00 p.m.).
The incidence - the number of new infections in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants - was 110.8.
A total of 24,784 people have been found to be infected with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
1585 people are currently infected, 22 486 are cured.
300 people are currently in the hospital, 72 of them in the intensive care unit.
When it comes to vaccinations, Saarland is 1.8 percent, according to the Robert Koch Institute, and thus below the national average of 2.0 percent.
