The Federation Council is developing a system of penalties for illegal blocking of Internet users

This, according to RIA Novosti, said the head of the Federation Council Commission on Interaction with the Media Alexei Pushkov.

“We are currently developing a system of penalties, including for Facebook and YouTube, for unreasonably blocking users,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that Facebook blocked the account of the general director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin after he commented on the publication of the former US ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul.

Later, the Facebook administration unblocked the publication of the head of Roscosmos.
