Winnipeg (AP) - Ice hockey national player Leon Draisaitl shot the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-3 away win less than a second before the end.
The most valuable player of the past NHL season scored against the Winnipeg Jets after submission by Connor McDavid and now, like his teammate, has seven scorer points this season.
"We were lucky in the end," said the 25-year-old after the third win in the seventh game.
Philipp Grubauer had previously suffered the third defeat of the season with the Colorado Avalanche and now has a balanced record after six season games.
In the 1: 3 against the Anaheim Ducks, the national goalkeeper was on the ice for almost the entire duration and parried twelve of the 14 shots on his goal.
With the last goal in the empty goal 1:40 minutes before the end, he had made room for an additional field player.
