"On Tuesday at 09:00 (11:00 Moscow time) a meeting of the Council of Ministers is convened, during which Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte will announce that he is resigning," the TASS statement was quoted as saying.
It is noted that after that Conte will hand over his resignation letter to Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
In October, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced that the European Union needed a new migration policy.
