  The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the embassy "will promote relations between the two countries at all levels" and expand the ties between the two governments, financial institutions, private sectors, universities, and media.

  At the same time, the UAE stated that its cabinet has approved the establishment of an embassy in Israel.

According to the Russian satellite network citing the UAE National News Agency (WAM), "the UAE government approved the opening of an embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel."

  With the help of the United States, Israel signed a relationship normalization agreement with the UAE and Bahrain at the White House on September 15, 2020.

On October 20th, the UAE official delegation paid its first official visit to Israel. The two sides reached a number of agreements including mutual visa exemption agreements.

On October 25, the Israeli cabinet finally approved the agreement on the normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE.
