Biden's Treasury Secretary to be Fed's former chairman Janet Yellen for the first time

Janet Yellen, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, will be appointed as Treasury Secretary of the Biden administration in the United States.

The Senate of Parliament approved the nomination of President Biden on the 25th.

Yellen will be the first woman to be the Treasury Secretary.
