Berlin (dpa / bb) - Three men were attacked with a knife by strangers in Berlin-Neukölln and injured - one of them was wanted by an arrest warrant.
The trio, aged 35, 41 and 48, was walking on Sunday night in Sonnenallee, the police said.
There it came to a dispute with the attackers.
The two older men were stabbed in the back, shoulder and arm.
They came to a hospital.
The younger one suffered respiratory and eye irritation, but treatment was not necessary.
When checking the personal details, the police found that the 35-year-old was wanted by arrest warrant for a sexual offense.
He was arrested.
According to the police, the exact sequence and background of the crime were initially unclear.
The attackers fled.
