Therefore, it is necessary to break the last energy ties with Russia and thereby show the whole world that for the official Kiev the standard of living of the population is far from being in the first place, "Balbek said.  

The deputy noted that the desire of Ukraine to unite with the European energy system in the future will become a "difficult path" for the Ukrainian people.

“After such a demarche, the same Russian gas, only from the European hub, will cost several times more,” the parliamentarian added.

Earlier, Vitrenko announced the need to "urgently disconnect from the unified energy system with Belarus and Russia" and unite with the European system.
