Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The seven-day value for new corona infections in North Rhine-Westphalia continues to decline slightly.

The health authorities reported 104.9 infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days - after 106.0 the previous day.

This is based on information from the Robert Koch Institute on Sunday (as of midnight).

Within one day, 2,611 people were newly infected in NRW.

The total number of registered infections is 470 082. The number of people who died from or with Covid-19 rose by 46 to 9941.

The day before, the authorities had registered 122 corona deaths within one day in the state.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, only the district of Höxter was just above the incidence value of 200 at 201.7. The lowest value in North Rhine-Westphalia is still recorded in Münster at 39.6.

Coesfeld with 54.4 could also soon fall below the limit again.
