Bad Rappenau (dpa / lsw) - A truck driver noticed six illegally entered refugees on Autobahn 6 in his hold.
Because the trailer wobbled, his colleague notified the police on Saturday during a break near Bad Rappenau (Heilbronn district).
The officers found six men from Afghanistan aged 15 to 21 years in the hold, the police said.
According to their own statements, they had got into the trailer three days earlier in Romania, were exhausted and were hungry and thirsty.
The Heilbronn fire brigade supplied the men with drinks, and the rescue service gave them a medical assessment.
Four refugees were brought to the state reception center in Karlsruhe, two were transferred to the youth welfare office.
