In March, the Ministry of Defense decided to hold a contest to compete for security-related technologies in order to secure human resources to strengthen defense capabilities in the cyber field.
Since cyber attacks on government agencies are occurring in each country, the Ministry of Defense is planning to promote efforts such as establishing a new "Self-Defense Forces Cyber Defense Corps" in the new fiscal year in order to strengthen the defense capability in this field.
As part of this, in March, the Ministry of Defense held an online contest to compete for cybersecurity expertise and knowledge, and began recruiting about 200 participants.
The contest will judge the speed at which security weaknesses can be detected and the technology for recovering data that has been damaged by an attack.
The Ministry of Defense wants to discover human resources with high expertise in the cyber field through the contest and use them to hire professional staff.
