"The ship" Fortuna "in the construction corridor in Danish waters has begun work on the resumption of construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
The work is proceeding in accordance with the received approvals, ”TASS reports Nord Stream 2.
Earlier, the US extended sanctions on the gas pipeline project.
The measures are directed against the pipe-laying barge Fortuna and its owner company.
The Kremlin described Washington's actions as crude and illegal pressure on economic operators.
The German government said that Berlin's position on the completion of construction remains the same.
