Facebook access was abruptly terminated in the U.S. and Europe, causing users to rage.

Facebook reported an apology on the 23rd local time for some users being forced to log out.

As a result of investigating the cause of the connection failure, Facebook made a statement and said, "We are sorry for the inconvenience," saying that a forced shutdown occurred due to a change in environment settings.

However, it did not provide a detailed description of which item in the configuration change caused the error or how many customers had access failures.

In addition, even after Facebook announced that the problem was fixed, the access failure was not completely improved, resulting in a commotion of users protesting.

Earlier on the night of the 22nd, in the United States and Europe, Facebook access was suddenly suspended, and users who were forcibly logged out tried to log in again, but they kept being denied access, saying'the password is incorrect' and'the account does not exist'. Only appeared.

DownDetector, a website failure tracking company, said that at least 4,800 users in the U.S. have received reports of Facebook access failure, and that connection problems have also been reported in Europe, including the UK.

Benzinga, an IT media outlet, said that iPhone users in the US and Europe were forced to shut down when they accessed the Facebook app. Android phone users appear to be unaffected.
