He wore the black dress but his fanciful pleading did not create an illusion: at the end of a hearing Thursday at the judicial court of Cusset (Allier), a man who claimed to be a lawyer and who was defending two victims of a scam, was arrested and imprisoned.
At the end of his police custody Friday, during which he assured that he intended to become a lawyer, he was indicted for "illegal exercise of the profession of lawyer" and "recidivism fraud" and placed in detention provisional, we learned Friday from the public prosecutor of Cusset Eric Neveu.
Thursday, even before the start of the hearing, the "atypical" behavior of the alleged 35-year-old lawyer, who took selfies in court with his two clients, intrigued the magistrates.
The fraud case in which he defends the two victims, cheated after having wanted to buy gold bars on a site of advertisements between individuals, is examined by the court then comes the moment of his pleading.

He is suspected of having embezzled nearly 260,000 euros between 2014 and 2018 to the detriment of the Limoges-based charity “Red Noses, Clown and Artists”, which he had founded and chaired.
