Erfurt (dpa / th) - Despite the falling number of infections, Thuringia remains the country with the highest incidence value nationwide.

In the Free State on Saturday, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 209.5 - and thus fell again compared to the previous day.

That comes from figures from the Thuringian State Chancellery on Saturday.

Accordingly, 675 newly recorded corona infections were added within one day.

On Friday the daily value was still 877 new infections.

Close behind Thuringia in terms of the seven-day incidence was Saxony-Anhalt on Saturday with a value of 204.1.
