Schwerin (dpa / lmv) - The volleyball women from SSC Palmberg Schwerin have celebrated another success after two clear defeats in the Bundesliga.
The team of coach Felix Koslowski prevailed on Saturday in a hard-fought game after almost two hours with 3: 1 (26:24, 25:23, 24:26, 25:15) against the ladies in Black Aachen.
The SSC thus kept its chance of one of the top three places in the main round.
In the first round, the Schwerin team gained an 11: 6 lead, but then fell behind with 11:13 and even had to fend off a set ball.
The SSC also had the upper hand in the second round, which was balanced over long stretches.
In the lost third set, the Mecklenburg women were 5:11 behind, caught up and finally awarded a match point.
In the last part of the game, the hosts left no doubt about their second home win this year.
