Stuttgart (dpa) - The Baden-Württemberg CDU decided on its 100-point government program with an approval of 100 percent at an online party conference.

This was announced by General Secretary Manuel Hagel on Saturday in Stuttgart.

In the event of a takeover after the state elections on March 14th, the CDU wants to make more money for families, internal security and the expansion of the fast Internet.

The program is entitled “Unleashing Baden-Württemberg - Our Way Out of the Crisis”.

The CDU is currently governing as a junior partner in a coalition with the Greens.

CDU top candidate Susanne Eisenmann had previously stated in her speech that, as Prime Minister, she wanted to make Baden-Württemberg future-proof, successfully lead it into the next decade and ensure prosperity.

The next decade will decide «whether we find our way back to the top or settle down comfortably in a quiet, sleepy place.

Whether Baden-Württemberg accepts the challenges of the future or only philosophizes about them at a high level and very intensively, "she said, referring to her opponent, Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens).
