In Hong Kong, local governments have taken steps to restrict access to the area in response to the proliferation of coronavirus infections in some areas.

On the morning of the 23rd, the Hong Kong government took the first so-called lockdown measure to restrict access to the Jordan area of the Kowloon Peninsula, saying that the infection with the new coronavirus is spreading rapidly.

This measure is until the inspection of all residents in the district is completed, and according to local media, about 10,000 people will be targeted.

The Hong Kong government aims to complete the test within 48 hours so that those who test negative can go to work on Monday.

The area is close to the downtown area and is densely populated with old buildings, and 162 people were confirmed to be infected between the 1st and 20th of this month.

Around the site, police and hygiene officials came out from early dawn to set up a temporary inspection site and set up a regulation line on the street.

In Hong Kong, the infection spread again from the end of November last year, and in addition to strict restrictions such as gathering three or more people and prohibiting eating out after 6 pm, measures are being strengthened such as requiring residents to inspect in some areas. However, the number of infected people has not decreased, and dozens to 100 people are confirmed to be infected each day.
