To all our caregivers, to all our elected officials, to all the staff and agents of the prefectures, regional health agencies and health establishments, to all those who join forces in this exceptional vaccination campaign

: thank you

" , posted on Twitter Jean Castex shortly after announcing that France had crossed the mark of one million people vaccinated.

The government had set this objective to be achieved by the end of January.

Saturday morning, Minister of Industry Agnès Pannier-Runacher had indicated on France Inter that France aimed to vaccinate “

 15 million people

” by June.

I am reasonably confident that this goal will be exceeded,

 " she added.

For its part, the High Authority for Health (HAS) qualified Saturday as "

reasonable

" the possibility of spacing the injection

of the two doses of the Covid vaccines

by six weeks

(instead of three to four weeks currently), in order to protect the most vulnerable and face the “

epidemic outbreak

 ”.

The extension of the injection period will allow "

to accelerate the administration of the first dose to the most vulnerable people

", that is, according to the projections of the HAS, at least 700,000 additional people "

who would be protected by the vaccine

" during the first month of application of this measure.

Stop talking in public transport

In parallel with this vaccination campaign, the instructions are multiplying to counter the growing pressure in hospitals and avoid a third confinement.

From this Saturday midnight, a negative test for Covid-19 will now be required for entry into France,

Faced with the threat of Covid-19 variants that

are

swarming

all over Europe

, the National Academy of Medicine also recommended Friday to avoid speaking and calling in public transport, even masked.

According to her, the compulsory wearing of a mask in public transport, where physical distancing cannot be respected, "

must be accompanied by a very simple precaution: avoid speaking and making telephone calls

 ".

Despite the threat of new variants, the Academy recommends "

not to modify the barrier gestures as they have been defined and improved for several months

" but to recall the good behavior such as wearing a mask permanently in space. public even when the physical distancing exceeds one meter.

When we talk, we spray and especially when we speak loudly, and you know that the metro is a noisy area.
