Niederkirchen (dpa / lrs) - A 20-year-old driver sank into a green strip during a turning maneuver in Niederkirchen (Bad Dürkheim district) and damaged his vehicle.
When trying to drive free, the car dug deep into the mud so that the vehicle touched down, as the police announced on Saturday.
The car's clutch was also damaged in the incident on Friday evening.
A patrol found the vehicle with hazard lights on the sodden grass verge.
The car had to be towed.
