Larry King, the host of the American CNN broadcast's signature talk show, died at the age of 87 on the 23rd local time.



According to the Associated Press and other foreign media, King Ora Media, a media network co-founded by King, said on the day that King died at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (LA).



In a statement, Aura Media said in a statement that "we announce the death of our co-founder, moderator and friend Larry King, who passed away at the age of 87 this morning." .



The company did not reveal the cause of the death.



Earlier, CNN cited a source close to King's family and said that King had been hospitalized for more than a week after being infected with the novel coronavirus infection.



King has long served as a host of radio broadcasts across the United States, and he gained fame by hosting'Larry King Live', which aired on CNN from 1985 to 2010.



For 25 years on CNN talk shows, he met political leaders, entertainers, athletes, actors, as well as ordinary people.



After filming a total of 6,000 films, he retired in 2010.



The AP said he was "a giant in the broadcasting industry for half a century."



King interviewed about 50,000 people.



The Dalai Lama and Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, Palestinian leaders Yasser Arafat, Bill Gates, Elizabeth Taylor, Lady Gaga and many other celebrities were included.

King, who also suffered from diabetes, has suffered from ailments several times.



After several myocardial infarctions, he had heart surgery in 1987, and in 2017 he suffered from lung cancer and healed after undergoing surgery.

These frequent illnesses triggered King's launch of the Larry King Heart Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps people without medical insurance get treatment.



King has been married to 7 women 8 times and has 5 children.



Last year, I lost two children from illness.



At the end of July, 65-year-old son Andy died of a myocardial infarction. In August, 52-year-old daughter Kaia died of lung cancer.
