Wolfsburg (dpa) - The VW Group expects a profit of around 10 billion euros in ongoing business for the past year despite significant sales losses due to the corona consequences.
As the Wolfsburg announced on Friday, this value for the operating result before special items - including, above all, further legal costs to deal with the diesel crisis - can be assumed on the basis of preliminary figures.
Volkswagen has not yet given any information on net profit.
Here too, however, the automaker recently calculated that it would still be able to finish 2020 in the black.
Sales had already stabilized again in the fourth quarter.
