Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo does not want to take sides in the power struggle of VfB Stuttgart.
"I currently don't feel obliged because it is not my area of responsibility," said the 43-year-old on Friday when asked whether he felt obliged to one side.
"I also don't feel left alone, because I certainly have one or the other contact person with whom I can discuss this topic."
Thomas Hitzlsperger, the chairman of the board of the Swabian Bundesliga club, had sharply criticized Claus Vogt and wants to replace him as president.
