At the request of RIA Novosti, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that they had not received notifications from the competent authorities of foreign states about the extradition and legal assistance in relation to Igor Grechushkin and Boris Prokoshev, the owner and captain of the Rhosus vessel, on board which was saltpeter in the port of Beirut.

are citizens of Russia, they are not subject to extradition to another state, as well as detention on the territory of Russia at the request of the competent authorities of foreign states for the purpose of extradition, ”the department added.
On January 12, Interpol put two Russians on the international wanted list in the case of the explosion in the port of Beirut in August 2020, when 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate were detonated.
