Hanover (dpa / lni) - At a special meeting, the Lower Saxony state parliament is discussing the Corona crisis today.
A government declaration by Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD) is planned to kick off.
It is about the latest federal-state resolutions from Tuesday on an extended and tightened lockdown to deal with the epidemic.
The draft of a correspondingly revised state corona regulation is now available.
The special session was originally requested by the FDP with the aim of developing a Lower Saxony position on further action in the crisis in the state parliament before the federal-state meeting.
Since the meeting was brought forward, the state parliament debate is now accompanying the further procedure in Lower Saxony.
