Würzburg (dpa / lby) - An opponent of state corona measures drove slowly along the A7 motorway, waving the flag on Friday, despite instructions from the police - several times.

After the third time, the woman's vehicle key was temporarily withheld, the police in Lower Franconia said.

Corona measures opponents had announced rallies in the area of the motorways on the Internet and on leaflets on Friday afternoon.

The police have therefore shown a strong presence throughout Lower Franconia.

Overall, the continued journey of two vehicles was prevented.

In addition, two criminal proceedings were opened for violations of the Weapons Act and 24 administrative offenses were reported - for example because of violations of the mask requirement and the contact and exit restrictions.

At the top, around 100 vehicles from supporters of the “D-Day 2.0” movement were on the move in Lower Franconia.

The car parade that the participants considered - and potentially dangerous for road traffic - that was supposed to pull through Lower Franconia on the A7 did not materialize.
