Bad Zwischenahn (dpa / lni) - When a car hit a tree in Bad Zwischenahn (Ammerland district), the passenger in the car was seriously injured.
The 83-year-old driver was slightly injured in the accident on Friday evening, the police said.
The 79-year-old woman and man were taken to a hospital.
The car was driving on Oldenburger Straße in the direction of Bad Zwischenahn when it came off the road for an initially unexplained cause and crashed head-on into the tree.
The street had to be fully closed for a short time, as it was said.
