Rostock (dpa / mv) - In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, 286 new corona infections were reported on Friday.
This was announced by the State Office for Health and Social Affairs in Rostock.
On Friday a week ago, there were 376 new infections.
Eleven other people died in connection with a corona infection - there are now a total of 355 in the northeast.
The total number of proven corona infections is now 18,109. 14,135 are considered to have recovered.
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days (seven-day incidence) fell further to 105.8 since the previous day.
A week ago, according to Lagus, this value was 116.
The district of Vorpommern-Greifswald continues to have the highest incidence value of 200.7 and is considered a corona hotspot.
The city of Rostock has the lowest value with 41.6.
