Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - 184 new infections with the corona virus have been registered in Saarland within 24 hours.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 24,300 people in the state had been infected by Friday, the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced (as of 4:00 p.m.).
21 764 people have recovered.
The reported number of people who died from or with the virus rose by 12 to 691.
According to the ministry, 1,845 people are currently infected.
304 would be treated as inpatients, 79 of them in intensive care units.
The number of new infections in the past 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants was 109.6 nationwide.
