Many people are impressed by the story of an American woman who brought back the broken wing of a butterfly.

Romi McCloskey, who died of cancer, started living as a'butterfly mother' about five years ago.

It was because of the will that my mother left before she died.

"If you find a butterfly while living in Romiya, you can think of it as coming to let you know that I am doing well. My soul will be with you in the future."

Mr. Romi wasn't satisfied with simply meeting butterflies, but decided to connect with more butterflies.

Whenever they found caterpillars in an environment where it was difficult to grow safely until adulthood, they were brought home, and then they were cared for in both sides until they became butterflies.

There were only dozens of butterflies that were returned to nature, but in 2018, one of the most desperate for help emerged.

The wings were torn during the metamorphosis.

Knowing that it was healthy but would not survive in its natural state, Romi decided that she should feed the butterfly indoors until it dies.

However, a friend of Romi who heard the news came out as a solution.

I created and sent a design design to fix the wings.

Romi, a costume designer and embroidery expert, started working on a friend's design.

First, the parts of the broken wing were cut off, and then'transplanted' using the wing of a butterfly that died a few days ago.

Powder was sprayed on the glued area to reduce stickiness.

Trimming a butterfly's broken wings is similar to cutting off human hair and is not known to be a painful process.

Fortunately, the butterfly, who successfully finished the operation, leaps nicely with the new wing the next day and became independent from Romi's arms.

“I felt like I was teaching my child how to ride a bicycle for the first time, seeing a butterfly flapping its wings for the first time,” said Romi. .
