UN Secretary-General strongly condemns suicide bombing in Baghdad

  In a statement, the spokesperson of the UN Secretary-General Dijaric said that Guterres strongly condemned the attack on civilians, expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims, the Iraqi government and people, and hoped that the injured would recover soon.

Guterres called on the Iraqi people to reject any acts of terrorist violence that attempt to undermine peace, stability and unity, and urged the Iraqi government to quickly locate the planners of the incident and bring them to justice.
