Berlin (dpa / sn) - Armed with a firearm and a knife, two masked men robbed a gas station in Berlin-Heiligensee.

As the police announced, they forced the 55-year-old employee in Heiligenseestrasse to open the cash register on Thursday.

They grabbed money from the cash drawer and a few packets of cigarettes from the display and fled.

The employee was unharmed.

The police initially gave no information about the amount of loot.

The robbery inspectorate is investigating.
