Berlin (dpa) - Despite the precarious situation at Hertha BSC, Bruno Labbadia is not overly concerned about his personal future.

“First of all, it's about the situation and less about me.

We can all read the table and know that we are under increasing pressure because of the results.

That's normal, ”said the coach of the Berlin Bundesliga club in the digital press conference before the game against Werder Bremen on Saturday (6.30 p.m.).

After falling to 14th place in the table, the 54-year-old promised intensive work to get back on track.

"Now it is important to roll up your sleeves, to defend yourself against resistance and not to go in with a fear," said Labbadia on Thursday.

The last unsettled team needed support after three games without a goal.

«We have to approach it with conviction.

We'll do that, ”said Labbadia.

Labbadia did not want to deal with possible reinforcements in the transfer window that ran until the beginning of February.

“Talking about the squad in such a situation would not be right.

We have the squad as it is, ”said Labbadia.

Manager Michael Preetz described media reports about a possible engagement of Alejandro Gómez from Atalanta Bergamo as a "question in the subjunctive".

Despite the sporting decline, no transfer offensive is planned for this winter.
