Yesterday, in a joint note, the opposition had expressed their intention to "represent to the President of the Republic their point of view on the situation which is now unsustainable".
In the coalition, however, there are different sensitivities about what is the best recipe for the future.
Matteo Salvini, who a few days ago had mentioned the possibility of an alternative center-right executive, today returns to ask that "the word be passed to the Italians" and that we go to vote.
An option that has always been considered the main road for Giorgia Meloni too.
In Forza Italia, which in recent days is also dealing with the heavy defections of Renata Polverini and Maria Rosaria Rossi, the path of the polls is not considered the preferable one.
And the same is true of some of the bush formations, such as Giovanni Toti's Cambiamo.
"What by dint of saying 'we vote we vote' the center-left is strengthened - says the Ligurian governor - is a doubt that I have also expressed to the center-right. The vote is conceivable in a summer window before the white semester. If there is a vote well come but we must also think in other directions ", he says.
