January 21, 2021There are local administrators, entrepreneurs and professionals among the recipients of the precautionary measures issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Catanzaro as part of the "Low Profile" operation, carried out this morning by Dia, the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza.
Thirteen people were arrested and taken to prison and 35 to house arrest: among the recipients, the major exponents of the Aracri, Arena and Grande Aracri clans, operating in the Crotone area, as well as prominent entrepreneurs and members of the public administration colluded with criminal organizations.
In addition to the precautionary measures, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Catanzaro ordered the execution of numerous seizures of assets, for over 300 million euros, consisting of company assets, real estate, vehicles, bank and postal current accounts.
Among those arrested, according to what has been learned, there are many white-collar workers from Catanzaro and the province.
The operation conducted by Dia staff, jointly with that of the Police, the Carabinieri and the Finance Police, involves the major exponents of the most important 'ndrine of Crotone, Isola Capo Rizzuto and Cutro as "Bonaventura" "Aracri", "Arena" and "Grande Aracri", as well as prominent entrepreneurs and members of the public administration colluded, according to the accusation, with criminal organizations.
