The People's Republic of China imposed sanctions on 28 former employees of Donald Trump's administration almost at the same time as Biden's oath of office.

In a communication from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the people are referred to as "anti-China politicians".

They are accused of stirring up hatred against China and damaging Sino-US-American relations.

The entry ban also includes direct family members of the sanctioned persons.
