- During December and January, there have been several thefts in cemeteries in southeastern Skåne.

It is preferably taps, brass taps that have been stolen.

But they have also been to cemeteries and stolen candles, light loops, copper handles from some tombstone and so on, says Patric Nihlén, municipal police Ystad.

Poor scrap value

Therefore, there are suspicions that these may be theft leagues.

We have no other information and do not really know what to work with.

It can also be local criminals but it is difficult to say at present.

The police in Ystad municipality so far have nothing to do about the cemetery thefts in the municipality.
