While she won the César for best short film in 2017, director Maimouna Doucouré is preparing her first feature film: Mignonnes.

The story of an 11-year-old black girl who - to escape family pressure - becomes part of a group of girlfriends who create very sexy choreography for their age.

The film won prizes at the most prestigious festivals: Sundance, Berlin ... it was even bought by Netflix for worldwide distribution.

However, following a mistake by Netflix, a vast controversy seizes the film in the United States, some elected officials call for a boycott.

The film will only make few entries in France.
