The "giant" DRC player Gauthier Mfombi Thierry caught his eye again in the Handball World Cup in Egypt, after he won the Best Player award in his team’s match against the Bahraini national team, despite the loss on Tuesday.

The giant player, who weighs 110 kilograms, was awarded the best player in the match after scoring 5 goals out of 5 attempts against Bahrain, in the match that the Democratic Republic of Congo lost, 34-27.

Thierry Mvumbi became the talk of the world since his debut in the World Cup, due to his huge shape and extra weight, and despite that, he starred in the matches he played, ending the tournament by scoring 14 goals from 15 attempts.

And the official account of the Handball World Cup on Twitter posted a picture of the player receiving the Best Award, commenting, "Movembe wins the best player award in the match with an exceptional performance!"
